Napp app
Napp App was inspired by a coworker whose lunchtime yoga break unexpectedly turned into a much-needed nap. This moment sparked the idea for an app designed to help busy workers and students find convenient places to rest during the day. Napp App connects users with accessible nap-friendly spaces, making it easier to recharge and improve focus throughout the day.
Project: Academic Project – DePaul University
Team: 5 Designers/Researchers
Tools: Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure
Timeframe: 10 Weeks
Initial Research
This research explored what users consider a safe and comfortable environment for napping and how personalized experiences can support those needs. It also examined how workplace napping could align with the goals of managers and companies.
PERSONAS & SCENARIOS
Personas and scenarios were created to help give an identity to our main users and help understand them as a whole in order to make design choices for them.
WIREFRAMES
Low Fidelity
The initial wireframes established the foundation for the Napp App, inspired by and designed as a hybrid between Uber and Airbnb. Users can create an account, search for nearby nap locations, filter options based on their preferences, and easily book a nap.
High Fidelity
The high fidelity wireframes developed the design and layout of the Napp App further. More screens were added and the user settings were expanded.
